'Buffalo Leather' strips

This leather is a corrected grain leather, which is made from top grain hides, with some imperfections on the surface. In corrected grain leather the surface has been buffed to sand all the imperfections away. And after an artificial grain is stamped on it, to give a more uniform look. Corrected Grain Leather is considered almost as durable as Full-Grain Leather. These straight cut leather belts are soft on one side with a pleasant feel in the hand. The other side is smooth and pigmented with a slightly matt finish. This makes them perfect for making dog collars, horse halters, leather adapters, straps for sandals or bags, small leather goods (haberdashery) or decorations. The straps are made from 100% cowhide.
